England chiefs to hold talks with former Schalke boss Ralf Rangnick
 

The Football Association are set to hold talks with former Schalke boss Ralf Rangnick over the vacant England managerial job, according to reports.
The Daily Telegraph claim that the 58-year-old has already had discussions with FA chiefs after Roy Hodgson stepped down in the summer.
But the FA’s preference for an English manager eventually led to the appointment of Sam Allardyce, who has lasted just 67 days in charge and was sacked on Tuesday evening.
Rangnick is now set to hold further talks with the FA after impressing them during a meeting in the summer.
