End to jollies on the golf course: City Watchdog crack down on 'excessive' hospitality from investment firms



Tougher rules could spell the end of boozy lunches and long days on the golf course.
The City watchdog is to crack down on financial advisers accepting 'excessive' hospitality from investment firms.
In a consultation on the industry, the Financial Conduct Authority said it may impose a blanket ban on hospitality such as days at rugby internationals and trips abroad.
