Emotional tributes paid to popular shinty player who suddenly died on golfing trip
 

A popular shinty player has died while on a golfing holiday with his father.
It is believed Martin Duncan had a heart attack.
Martin, 35, who was married with two daughters, collapsed on a trip to Ireland with dad James and about 20 members of Fort William Golf Club.
Offshore worker Martin, of Caol, near Fort William, collapsed not long after the party arrived.
He played “at every level” for Kilmallie Shinty Club.
All of the club’s weekend games were called off as mark of respect.
