Emotional tributes paid to newlywed footballer who died aged 28 after brain tumour battle
 

A newlywed footballer who died after a short battle with cancer been described as an "absolute warrior on the pitch".
Calum Riddell, who played for Nairn Academy in the Highland League, tragically passed away three months after he was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma while on honeymoon with his wife Rebekah.
He died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Tuesday after being rushed to hospital on Sunday night for emergency surgery.
