Electric cars may be allowed to use bus lanes to cut pollution
 

Electric cars will allowed to go the wrong way down one-way streets under Government plans to cut pollution in Birmingham.
Other proposals include allowing them to use bus lanes and giving them priority at traffic lights.
The measures are set out in a consultation paper published by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, which is overseeing plans for a “clean air zone” in Birmingham.
