Elderly pedestrian hurt in Chester collision with bus

An elderly male pedestrian was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a bus in Chester city centre .
The incident happened about 9.15am today (Monday, October 17) in Love Street, which was closed for a time.
Cheshire Police said an 'elderly man' was taken to hospital believed to be suffering from a minor head injury.
A North West Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed a rapid response vehicle was sent to the scene quickly followed by an ambulance.
The patient was conveyed in the ambulance to the Countess of Chester Hospital .
