Elderly couple in 'life threatening' condition after Oswestry A5 crash
 

Emergency services were called to the crash at about 7.25am on Sunday morning on the busy road near the Queens Head.
An elderly couple, both aged in their 70s, and were travelling in a blue Subaru Legacy and had to be flown by air ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious internal injuries, which were described as "life changing".
Today the man's injuries are described as "significant and life threatening" and the woman is described as stable but her injuries are still described as "life threatening".
