Eight businesses to be flattened for £150m site at St Marks in Lincoln



Shops at St Marks in Lincoln are to be demolished to make way for a new department store, 1,250 homes, a 130-bed hotel and possibly even a cinema in an £150 million redevelopment that will create 1,400 to 2,000 jobs.
The plan is to pull down units currently occupied by firms including Toys R Us, Pizza Hut, Toby Carvery, Homebase, Burger King, the former Lidl, and the two-storey car park.
The row of shops that once included BHS Home will remain and the building extended skywards to a height of 60ft.
