Education Secretary Justine Greening 'expects to see improvement' in Derby schools
 

Education Secretary Justine Greening says she expects to see an improvement in education in Derby - despite this year's provisional GCSE results showing the city in the bottom ten local authorities in the country.
Ms Greening was speaking as she was interviewed during a visit to the University of Derby to launch the city as one of six new opportunity areas in the country.
