Edinburgh Monarchs ace Ryan Fisher set to retire from British speedway
 

Edinburgh Monarchs ace Ryan Fisher is set to retire from British speedway at the end of the season.
The American has been a popular figure in the sport for 14 years and his career was celebrated earlier this season with a testimonial event at Armadale Stadium.
The 33-year-old still has at least two matches to ride for the Monarchs before he calls time on his British career and he’ll be doing all he can on Friday night to prolong that stay by defeating Ipswich in the play-off quarter-finals.
