Eddie Jones hints he could stay on as England head coach after World Cup



Eddie Jones has given a first cautious hint that he may be persuaded to continue as England head coach beyond the next World Cup — if the RFU wish to keep him.
Days after they addressed the issue of succession planning, in readiness for the Australian’s expected exit in 2019, Jones raised the possibility that he could stay on.
RFU chief executive Ian Ritchie said on Tuesday that the onus was on Jones to consider his long-term future at Twickenham, saying: ‘It’s up to him. Who can tell what happens over the next three years or so?
