ECHO readers dismay at 16 week sentence of bully who abused defenceless dog



ECHO readers shared their outrage at a 16-week prison sentence handed to a thug who poured boiling water over his dog’s head .
Mark Simon Sharp, 34, poured boiling liquid on a defenceless King Charles Spaniel Daisy, and left her with nine broken ribs and a broken pelvis following months of secret abuse.
Sharp, of no fixed address, was locked up for 16 weeks at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Monday - a sentence many ECHO readers thought was too lenient.
Rebecca Anfield said: “Sixteen weeks is not long enough. The poor dog has to live with this horrible crime for the rest of its life”.
