Eastwood Primary school pupils could get brand new building
 

Pupils at a Nottinghamshire primary school and nursery could be given a completely new school 500 metres down the road.
Lynncroft Primary and Nursery School in Eastwood has applied to build new classrooms at the site of the former Eastwood Comprehensive Lower School.
The application, which was recently submitted to Nottinghamshire County Council, states the plans are for a "two-storey replacement 210-place primary and 26 full-time equivalent place nursery school" with car parking and a sports pitch in Walker Street.
