Drunk van driver drove into Holyhead port the wrong way

A drunk van driver drove the wrong way around Holyhead port in the early hours of this morning.
Security officers decided to stop Thomas John Molloy after he entered the complex the wrong way and found he was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech.
The guards called police and a roadside breath test proved positive and the 34-year-old from Athlone in the Irish Republic was arrested shortly after 2am.
Further tests carried out at a police station showed he was more than twice the legal drink driving limit.
