Drunk lad lands £475 bill after kicking taxi wing mirror off

Drunk Joshua Burton kicked off a taxi wing mirror and ended up with a bill for £475.
But it could have been higher because the cabbie lodged a claim for £681 repairs to his Mercedes, Nottingham magistrates heard on Tuesday.
The damage was caused after Burton, 23, met a friend who had spent the afternoon at a funeral. The pair had some drinks in the city centre and ordered a taxi, said Graham Heathcote, mitigating.
It came along Mansfield Road and they flagged down the driver who refused to take them on their journey.
