Drunk jailed to protect the public



0 Have your say A notorious Burnley drunk has been locked up for four weeks after flouting an anti-social behaviour order for the 23rd time.
Paul Manley (49) who has a long criminal record, was banned from entering part of the town under the order, but ignored it and was also using foul language in the street, upsetting passers-by.
Alcoholic Manley, who has health issues, had to go to custody as punishment and to protect the public, Burnley magistrates decided.
