Drugs seizures more than double in just five years in Nottinghamshire's prisons
 

The number of drug seizures in Nottinghamshire’s prisons has more than doubled across the county in the last five years, new figures have revealed.
The level of drug busts in prisons are at their highest for at least five years, according to government figures, and one ex-convict has told the Post that he’s not at all surprised by the numbers.
Across last year, there were 163 drug busts in Category B Lowdham Grange prison, near Calverton. This was up almost 50 per cent from the year before, with 114 in 2015, and 68 incidents in 2012.
