Drone footage shows huge chunk of "Boaty McBoatface" ship arriving in Birkenhead



A giant chunk of the “Boaty McBoatface” ship named after Sir David Attenborough has arrived at Cammell Laird after a 700-mile journey round Britain.
The famous Birkenhead shipyard is building the £200m research ship the RRS Sir David Attenborough. More than 100,000 people voted for that ship to be named Boaty McBoatface but the Government instead chose to name it after the TV wildlife legend.
Instead a remote controlled yellow submersible called Boaty McBoatface will be based on board the ship, one of the most advanced polar research vessels in the world.
