Drivers to be fined £70 for parking on grass verges



NEW traffic regulation orders are to be implemented in two North Lincolnshire villages to stop people parking on grass verges.
The new regulation is the first of its kind in our area and is being enforced by North Lincolnshire Council.
It was requested by Scawby Parish Council after concerns were raised about parking in Scawby and Sturton.
The order will restrict all parking on the highway verges in the two villages and allow enforcement officers to issue penalty charge notices to any vehicles parked partly or wholly on the verges.
