Driver 'feared the worst' over fatal crash on A52

A passer-by has told of how he feared the worst after stopping and trying to help following a crash on the A52 on Saturday night.
Police confirmed on Sunday morning that a female pedestrian had died in the collision, which happened shortly after 11.30pm on the A52 Derby Road near the entrance to Wollaton Hall.
Nicholas Labbate was driving home from Melton Mowbray when he came across the crash.
