Drink driver three-times over legal limit avoids ban



Andrew Dugdale, 60, of Collingwood Close, denied the charge at an earlier hearing, but was found guilty by magistrates.
He was accused of drink driving at High Cross Car Park, Coniston, on November 23 last year.
When tested, Dugdale was more than three times the legal limit, with 128 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Appearing Kendal Town Hall, Dugdale was handed 10 penalty points and ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.
