Drink driver hit van head-on in West Bridgford
 

A dangerous driver was banned from the roads for 20 months after hitting a central refuge and crashing into an oncoming van in West Bridgford.
Nottingham magistrates heard that Iliyan Stanev, 31, misjudged an overtaking move on Melton Road and later failed a breath test.
The van driver suffered stiffness and headaches after the crash on June 5. An 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, was imposed on Stanev of Vickers Street, Nottingham who must also do 150 hours community work.
