Dr Martens to open new store in Hull



A cool new national retail brand is set to stick the boot into Hull.
Dr Martens is to open its first standalone store in King Edwards Street, Hull city centre, on Thursday, October 13.
The 700sq ft retail space will create nine jobs and follows recent store openings in Derby and Cambridge – bringing Dr Martens' store count up to 26 nationwide.
Local artist Mark Wigan, founder of The Museum of Club Culture, in Humber Street, will be creating a unique piece of artwork to adorn the walls in the new store, having partnered with the brand on a number of projects in the past.
