Dozens of community hospital beds face axe at Bradwell



TWO-HUNDRED nurses are facing an uncertain future as dozens more hospital beds are facing the axe.
The NHS workers have been told all 64 beds at Bradwell Hospital are to close by the end of October.
The bombshell news comes as the two 24-bed wards at Cheadle Hospital are shutting on Friday.
NHS bosses are expected to approve the Bradwell Hospital closure at a meeting next week.
But the Royal Stoke University Hospital – which provides the patient care – and NHS England have raised concerns over the timing of the move.
