An artist who penned his own e-fit after claiming he was ‘conned’ by a doorstep caller says he was stunned when police caught up with the suspect.
Tom McGrath says he was swindled on his Chorlton doorstep and decided to warn others... by creating his own homemade ‘efit’ of the visitor.
The retired 70-year-old art teacher quickly put pencil to paper to draw the workman with an ‘unhealthy pallor’ believing he had been tricked.
