Dolgellau's 20,000gns Hardy Welsh ram is fifth most expensive ever
 

Hardy Welsh ram prices hit 20,000gns for a yearling at the annual Meirionnydd flockmasters sale.
Machynlleth breeder Alwyn Rees, of GP Rees & Son, Cae Ceinach, Pennal, is a regular price setter at Dolgellau mart and so it proved at yesterday’s auction.
His yearling headed the 250 entries when knocked down to Mssrs Roberts, Tyddyn Coed, Conwy .
Two other Cae Ceinach yearlings also went for 5,500gns and 5,000gns.
