Dog owners who fail to clear up pet’s mess set for £200 on-the-spot fine at Bradgate Park

Plans to introduce on-the-spot £200 fines for dog owners who break the rules at a county beauty spot are set to be given the go-ahead.
Charnwood Borough Council looks likely to give the green light to bringing in public spaces protection order (PSPO) for Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood at a meeting on Thursday.
It aims to target owners who do not keep their animals under control, or fail to clear up after them.
