Doctor fined after his dangerous dog escapes and kills neighbour's pet chickens
 

A doctor must keep his “dangerous” dog muzzled at all times after it escaped and killed two pet chickens.
Dr John Oxlee’s large husky Alaskan/akita broke through a fence into a neighbour’s garden on an upmarket Eaglescliffe street before attacking the birds, named Mustard and Custard.
The 76-year-old pleaded guilty to having a dog dangerously out of control in a public place and was sentenced at Teesside Magistrates’ Court .
Prosecuting of behalf of Stockton Council , Michelle Stowe told the court that a complaint was received from the victim on February 10 this year.
