Disgraced former England boss Sam Allardyce admits ‘disappointment’ in departure statement
 

Sam Allardyce admits he is deeply ‘disappointed’ to leave his ‘dream’ job as England boss.
The former Sunderland boss had his contract terminated after just 67 days in charge of the Three Lions following a newspaper sting that showed him telling a far-east firm that they could bend third party ownership rules.
Allardyce leaves his position after just one game in charge in which Adam Lallana scored the winner against Slovakia in a 1-0 win.
