DIRECTOR'S DEALS: Geoff Cooper, 62 Chairman, AO World, splashes £169k on shares



The new boss of online retailer AO World has splashed out £169,000 on shares in his employer.
AO chairman Geoff Cooper, 62, bought 100,000 shares for 169p each.
The married father-of-two was appointed in June as online white goods seller AO revealed annual losses of £6.7million.
He replaced Richard Rose, who irritated major investors by selling most of his 1.3 per cent stake in the company for £10million a year after it floated on the stock market.
Sailing enthusiast and Tottenham Hotspur football fan Cooper was chief executive of builders' merchant Travis Perkins until 2013.
