Diesel prices rise to 14 month high - and it's all Brexit's fault



There will be pain at the pumps for scores of Birmingham motorists over the coming weeks, after it was revealed diesel prices have hit a 14-month high.
Experts are blaming the Brexit vote, with the country having to endure a weak pound after the majority of residents backed a Leave vote in the EU Referendum in June.
According to figures from the Automobile Association, the nationwide average for diesel rose 1.9p to 113.1p a litre in September.
Unleaded fuel, meanwhile, has increased by 1.6p to an average of 111.8p.
