Diesel CRACKDOWN - Drivers expected to be hit with even HIGHER car tax
 

Motorists have been put on alert about reports that they could be handed even higher car taxes if they purchase a new diesel vehicle.
The Chancellor Philip Hammond had already hinted during his Budget statement in March that changes to diesel car taxes could be coming.
At the time he said he would “explore the appropriate tax treatment”.
And now the Financial Times has reported that ministers have been discussing changes to taxes for diesel cars ahead of the Autumn Budget 2017.
