Didier Drogba refuses to play for Montreal Impact

Former Chelsea star Didier Drogba refused to play for MLS club Montreal Impact, according to his coach Mauro Biello.
The 38-year-old was not named in the starting XI for Impact’s clash with Toronto FC, while his absence was initially claimed to be because of a back injury.
‘Didier wasn’t selected to start the game,’ said Biello.
‘I spoke with him yesterday and he didn’t accept the fact to come off the bench and, in the end, he did not want to be in the 18.’
The match finished 2-2 as Montreal secured a play-off place for the second consecutive season.
