'Despondent' man spotted on wrong side of Humber Bridge railings



Police were called to the Humber Bridge to help with a "despondent" man on the wrong side of the railings.
The man, described as 'despondent', was eventually talked down and taken into the care of officers.
Coastguard teams were also involved in the incident, which unfolded at about 5pm on Saturday.

A Coastguard spokesman said: "We were paged at 16.59 to reports of a despondent male on the wrong side of the railings on the Humber Bridge."
