Desperate aid plea for Haiti after Hurricane Matthew leaves death toll of over 900
 

AID agencies yesterday begged the world to help hurricane-stricken Haiti as cholera threatened to add to a death toll of more than 900.
International efforts had been hampered by Hurricane Matthew, which has destroyed tens of ­thousands of homes.
Now charities have warned deadly disease will spread due to the lack of clean drinking water.
Christian Aid’s Prospery Raymond said: “The population are really in need of water, shelter, materials. This emergency is very, very critical.”
