Derek McInnes insists Aberdeen's celebrations were tame compared to Motherwell's after Betfred Cup win
 

Derek McInnes has hit back at Stephen Robinson’s claims Aberdeen’s Fir Park celebrations were over the top.
The Dons boss, still hurting at being thumped 3-0 by Motherwell in the Betfred Cup three days earlier, led his side to a league win before Well gaffer Robinson then said: “It probably shows how far we have come that they’re celebrating and banging doors.”
But McInnes, preparing his men for the visit of St Johnstone tomorrow, insisted his side’s expressive behaviour had nothing on Motherwell’s when they triumphed in the cup tie.
