Derby woman's spider shock when cleaning out snake's tank
 

When Georga Sheldon lifted the lid of her snake's vivarium she did not expect to see a spider staring back at her - possibly one of the most likely breeds to bite in the UK.
She was even more shocked to realise that she, her family and the snake have been sharing a home with a false black widow spider - one of few British breeds capable of delivering a bite that can become infected in some cases.
Ms Sheldon, who lives in Falkirk Street, Chaddesden, said; "I read about the rise in the number of these spiders on the Derby Telegraph website a few weeks ago.
