Derby terrorist Munir Mohammed planned to attack 'enemies of Islamic State'



A judge has described a terrorist attack plotted by a Derby man as "potentially devastating".
Munir Mohammed has today been convicted at the Old Bailey of plotting a massive attack on the UK against those he considered "enemies of the Islamic State".
He had two of the three components needed at his home in Leopold Street, Derby, when police raided it in December 2016.
His partner, Rowaida El-Hassan, 33, of Willesden Lane, north-west London, was also convicted of the same offence.
