Derby's street drinking problem: City councillor says it has not worsened



In response to The Derby Telegraph's investigation into street drinking, leading city council councillor Asaf Afzal has defended the work the authority does to tackle the issue and said he thought the problem had not "significantly increased".
Derby is "no different to any other city in the country" in regards to its problem street drinkers, according to the city councillor whose department is in charge of work to tackle the issue.
