Derby's Roger D'Arcy has released first album at 59 with songs inspired by Humbleton School days
 

A former Humbleton Junior School pupil has used inspiration from his days as a schoolboy for the lyrics of a new song.
Roger D'Arcy, Derby-born and a product of Bemrose School and Humbleton, at Mackworth Estate, has become a recording artist at the age of 59, following a successful career as one of the world's leading designers of recording studios.
His first solo album, Crooked Tales, with all songs composed, written and sung by Roger, was released in August.
Roger also plays guitar on all the tracks, accompanied by an eclectic combination of musicians from Nashville to Istanbul.
