Derby's Hippodrome could be in current state for YEARS unless 'genuine offer made'



Derby's derelict Hippodrome could stay in its current state for years unless somebody makes a realistic offer to buy it, according to the project manager of the site.
Ian Davidson said the owners of the building, which is in Green Lane, had not had any "realistic or genuine" offers to buy it from them. The building is now owned by a bank called Blake Finance, which gave former owner Christopher Anthony a mortgage for the property.
