Derby road's speed limit must drop to prevent more fatal crashes, residents say
 

The speed limit must be reduced on a main Derby road to prevent more fatal crashes, concerned residents have said.
An inquest into the death of Saim Mahmood found the teenager died because he was not wearing a seatbelt when he crashed his car in Snelsmoor Lane, Chellaston, last year.
A petition was then started in an attempt to have the 60mph speed limit reduced. More than 1,000 people signed but so far, no changes have been made to the lane.
Mr Mahmood was not speeding at the time of the crash but there is a general feeling that the speed limit is too high.
