A volunteer who saved a two-year-old's life when he collapsed at nursery is being honoured at a ceremony on Sunday.
Caroline Blake, 43, a volunteer at Little Nippers nursery, at St Alkmunds Church, Kedleston Road, has been nominated for a Bishop's Badge for her quick thinking that led to saving the toddler's life.
She said: "One of our little boys collapsed back in February and he stopped breathing. He had two collapsed lungs and I saved his life. Had he not been at nursery that day, he wouldn't be here now."
