Derby driver's illegal pepper spray was gift from his MUM
 

House painter Mariusz Krupa was caught with a pepper spray - and said it was a gift from his mum.
She treated him to it in their Polish homeland where they are legal and easy to buy, a court heard.
Krupa, 35, brought it across to the UK and was unaware these sprays are offensive weapons and are prohibited under the Firearms Act.
Stephen Burdon, mitigating, said it was handed over shortly after a police check on a Mercedes car driven by Krupa of Glengarry Way, Derby.
