Derby businesses to be balloted again on St Peters Quarter future

Plans are under way to revive Derby's St Peters Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) - with a re-ballot of businesses scheduled for next year.
This summer, businesses narrowly voted against the renewal of the BID, which over the past five years had delivered a number of improvements to the area, which is situated between the Cathedral Quarter and the Intu Derby shopping centre.
As a result, the BID came to an end on August 31. But now, a new business plan is being put together, which will be put to a ballot in February.
