'Derby boy shut in room while other children played' says cruelty case witness
 

A boy spent his time shut in a room while other children played, a woman who visited his home as a child has told a jury.
This evidence was provided by Vicky Willmer at the trial of Gayle and Neil Megill today. Miss Willmer said she had regularly visited the couple's home when she was young.
Gayle Megill, 51, is accused of cruelty against two children. Her husband, Neil Megill, 48, is alleged to have failed to protect the children from her actions.
