Deliberations continue in Chester taxi driver rape trial
 

A jury has spent all day deliberating its verdicts in the trial of a taxi driver accused of raping a drunken student minutes after she got into his cab after a night out in Chester .
The seven women and five men who make up the jury in 46-year-old Sultan Amari’s trial at Warrington Crown Court have been sent home for the night after being unable to reach a unanimous decision today (September 27), but will continue their deliberations on Wednesday, the fifth day of proceedings.
