Delays for motorists on main Cumbria road following huge lorry fire
 

Motorists using a major Cumbrian road today could face disruption as recovery work continues after a lorry burst into flames.
The fire happened on the A66 at Whinfell, near Center Parcs, Penrith, last night about 9pm.
The road was closed for several hours while police, the fire service and highways workers made the area safe.
Emergency repairs are continuing this morning.
It means that temporary traffic lights between Brough and the A66's junction with the A6 at Penrith's Kemplay Bank roundabout. Disruption is being felt both ways.
