Defendant who stormed out of Magistrates' hearing sent to prison



Louise Chambers of Argyle Street, appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court on October 12 where she pleaded guilty to using threatening and abusive words and behaviour with intent on October 11.
The 28-year-old had initially appeared in court to in relation to an incident which occurred at the Dova Unit in Dane Garth, on September 10.
Chambers had already pleaded guilty to threatening medical staff at the facility but put up the hood of her coat mid-hearing as presiding magistrate Gillian Sutton was requesting an adjournment.
