Deadly MRSA 'superbug' found in Sainsbury's and Asda pork
 

Meat sold in Sainsbury's and Asda contains the MRSA "superbug", according to reports.
A sample of 97 UK-produced pork products in supermarkets were analysed in a test commissioned by the Alliance to Save Our Antibiotics, Compassion in World Farming and Sustain.
Worryingly, the startling results show meat from pigs being sold in Sainsbury's and Asda contain a strain of MRSA which can cause serious and potentially fatal infections in humans.
